Its funny that people think we shouldn't be violent against a group that revolves around violence..... lol..... the saying "treat people the way you want to be treated" really applies. And if you believe in karma, thats a thing too.

If I’m nice to them? They’ll still want me dead for being Jewish.

If I fight back? They’ll still want me dead for being Jewish.

Why not do the one that involves punching Nazis?

Because punching them means stooping to their level. That’s why.

And because saying you’re anti violent rhetoric while justifying violent rhetoric makes you look like a hypocrite.

And assault is a crime.

You can order this shirt here! I made this because of all the people out there who bring girls down everyday and tell them they can’t do something, when they can do it better.

Just ordered matching t-shirts for myself and my baby sister. So pumped!

I made one too!

BAD QUESTION

Just a question, asked purely out of curiosity- why the anger with Rowling?

anti-radfem-deactivated20200528:

She’s extremely left leaning. Doesn’t do a lot of her own thinking. Pretends to advocate for truth while perpetuating (& supporting) lies and continually being disingenuous. She regularly sacrifices her creative integrity in order to capitulate to minority fans, which is - unfortunately - a trait a lot of creators are taking on as of late. She perpetuates stereotypes & drags people through the mud for disagreeing with her. Despite claiming to be against bigotry she hates people who have differing political and social opinions than herself. I could go on, but listing the egregious shit she does would take me all day.

I love the Harry Potter books, and I admire her very much as a writer, but as a person I usually find her to be quite hypocritical and despicable.

You have vocalized exactly my feelings about why you should let bigots have a plantform rather than just reacting violently to them. Giving them a chance to speak is the only way to show everyone just how stupid and backwards they are. You can't do that if you only react with violence rather than a proper reasoned argument and response.

I think that people tend to recoil away from “give them a platform” because they imagine that we’re saying, “Just let them speak and get on with it.” No. Have people that know what they’re talking about engage them. Have a full and structured debate, don’t give them any space to hide their ideology. Expose them thoroughly. And then, once you’ve forced them away from their buzzwords and smooth-talking back into real, honest descriptions of how they feel, then the world sees what they’re really about.

It’s the same for any kind of extremist. Don’t let them get away with fancy-sounding catchphrases. Pin them down and force them to explain their thoughts and positions in the most basic way possible.

You want fascists in the white house? That’s how you get fascists in the white house.

See also Trump’s free media publicity. See also Trump’s “debates” with the republican clown car and Hilary Clinton. See also pigeon chess.

Don’t come on my posts and be intellectually dishonest, because I find that mildly irritating.

You mean the free media publicity where the media deliberately misrepresented his views, so when people sought out his actual views, they could easily be convinced that there was a conspiracy against him? (Like, oh, him saying something about banking cabals working together – exactly the way that banks colluded and manipulated to cause the banking crisis – and the media reported that he went on a “tirade against Jews,” when it was the media alone that made the connection between “corrupt banks” and “evil Jews”? Like that?)

You mean the debates with the other Republicans and Clinton where none of them took him seriously, where, up until the the actual counting of votes, nobody ever thought that he really had a chance to win, so dismissed him? (Like the Republicans thinking he was just a joke that’d drop out, and Clinton so over-confident that she didn’t bother even visiting some key states that had voted Democrat before, and fixed her campaign on nothing but, “Hey, isn’t it time for a woman in the White House?” where Trump went around the Rust Belt and promised jobs and that the forgotten people in the US wouldn’t be forgotten? Like that?)

You mean pigeon chess, where the Democratic platform was basically based on identity politics, whilst, again, Trump was switched on enough to appeal to the forgotten voters of the US, focusing on the politically incorrect and unspoken fears of voters, jobs, saying that he was against the corrupt establishment (like Bernie Sanders, who was immensely popular) and the like, actually playing politics whilst the Democrats were stuck almost entirely on “But Clinton has a vagina!”

I’m so sorry that you can’t seem to read and are so fixated on ignoring things that are uncomfortably true.

Trump was never, in my view, exposed as a bigot by absolutely anyone on the campaign trail. He had soundbites twisted and those opposing him focused on calling him buzzwords instead of actually taking his words and deeply analysing them. I don’t think that Trump’s a natural speaker. If someone had actually spent time pressing each of his points of view, criticising them and then giving meaningful feedback, actually giving a different and more measured solution, if someone had seen the same fears in the population that voted for him and bothered to try and make a connection instead of just dismissing anyone that leaned towards him as stupid, “deplorable” or a bigot, then I’m positive that you would have had a different President today.

It wasn’t Trump playing pigeon chess. It was the Democrats (after Sanders was knocked out, because he knew what he was doing and I think he’d have learned from his blunders to win), it was the media, and it was extreme Clinton supporters.

Your Presidential race called for an end to establishment politicians. It called for plain and easy speaking to the general population. It called for actually talking about things that were uncomfortable to talk about, like terrorism, security and immigration. It called for someone to promise change.

And what did the other side do? Identity politics, name-calling, screeching “bigot” and far-too-blatant manipulation that was easily proven wrong by nothing more than a Google search and a Youtube video of Trump’s actual words.

So you can be as flippant as you want and blame the outcome of the Presidential election on the wrong things, but if you and others don’t accept what you did wrong and change it within three and a half years, then you’re going to get nothing but more Trump or another Republican candidate. Your sneering kind of attitude and deliberate refusal to see what is actually presented to you lost your election, and it’s going to keep losing elections.

Mazel.

Unless something changes soon and big in the Republican party, we don’t have until the midterm elections to prevent the warfare which results from the neonazis and neoreactionaries being given platforms from which to articulate hate and organize against targeted groups in terror campaigns.

I agree that US corporate media was highly anti-semitic and did huge damage and disservice the people of the US by giving free press to Trump; my position is that Trump should have been denied national platform for his political positions.

I agree that the democratic party messed this all up. I chose to vote for Bernie in this election as soon as he announced his campaign for the presidency and advocated for him all throughout. I am deeply disappointed with the democrats particularly in their descision to deliberately elevate Trump to their prime opponent in the republican party and to deliberately desparage Bernie in the primaries. It was an anti-semitic attack and censorship agianst him. They continue to disappoint by acquiescing to republican malfeance in our rule of law and in our formal debate on the congress floors.

The KKK has effectively taken over congress and the president’s office by using words in various public and private venues to enact parlimentary procedures ensuring their eventual political coup. They have used their words in various public and private venues to silence the words of others by suppressing votes and intimidating voters and stripping the voting protections of the people of the US in courts.

Trump didn’t win. He cheated. If you’ve been paying attention, the presidency was handed to him through a technique first tested with George Bush Jr called “caging”; a federal system was used by white supremacists in the government to purge voter rolls of black people, women, and other people. Racial gerrymandering initiated by court challenges in Shelby County, Alabama against Eric Holder of the DOJ under Obama was used in Virginia, North Carolina, and probably several of the states like Wisconsin and Michigan to arrange the board in their favor. You know Alabama like where Jeff Sessions is senator of? Ultimately, it was republican electors and the republican congress that chose Trump over the interests of the people of the US and the world.

The RNC, the Trump Organization, and Russian intelligence conspired against the people of the US through manipulation of media and formal procedure.

There is an important difference between hate speech and free speech. Hate speech often is “fighting words” and is accompanied by organization and action that is hate crime. When hate speech is to motivate hate crime, it is prudent and proper to shut it down.

Is… is this what a genuine conspiracy theory looks like?

You’re so annoyed that your side didn’t win that therefore there must have been a massive conspiracy to manipulate the entire country?

I mean, seriously, you’re trying to argue that “voter caging” was a technique “first tested with George Bush Jr,” where in fact it was going on back in the 1980s? You sound exactly like one of those extreme Trump supporters that comes out with things like, “Literally millions of dead people and illegal immigrants were used to vote for Clinton, which totally rigged the election!”

The only reason that you’re saying that he cheated is because your side didn’t win. It’s also really funny to me that Russian intelligence could rig a US election, but totally couldn’t do anything when it came to Clinton when she sent secure data through insecure channels. You do realise that if you accept that Russia wanted Trump in the White House for some reason, then they would clearly want to take Clinton’s emails and do something with them, right? But, no, I guess Russian intelligence only started working properly towards conspiracy when it suits you.

The KKK isn’t in charge of the White House. Just because anyone further Right than the Far-Left is in power, that doesn’t mean that they’re automatically KKK members.

Hate speech being suppressed does nothing. Challenging hate speech and proving it obviously wrong is doing something.

But I guess you’re much more a fan of bitter conspiracy theories and hypocrisy than anything else, considering the Wikileaked DNC had instances of calling Hispanic voters “the taco bowl demographic” and Clinton’s old (paraphrased) “black teenagers are super predators” lines, and I imagine that you weren’t rushing to say that everyone needed to “shut it down.”

It’s honestly pathetic how desperate you are to clutch at straws. You’re so blind to the realities of your nation that you refuse to accept that there were people that voted for Trump because they wanted him to win. Nobody “conspired against the people.”

I’m just going to be super blunt and hope that this gets through your skull.

It was a fair election that you lost. Your side sucked. Clinton wasn’t good enough at rallying people towards her. Trump was better at rallying people towards him. Grow up and get over it, then start campaigning for mid-terms and the next election instead of whining like a baby that you didn’t get the result that you wanted. It’s called being an adult and having to just get on with life. For. Fuck’s. Sake.
